Delivering his second Friday prayers sermon, Ayatollah Khatami (excerpts):
"The elections, that were unprecedented over the past 60 years in terms of the US public turnout, has a very clear message if there is any hearing ear. Its clear message is hatred of Bush and the ambitious and arrogant policies of the present US administration."
He warned Obama that he will face the fate of Bush if follows his wrong way.
"You know the US presidents are not fully in charge. Those are strategists and the political and economic elite that draw up policies," he added.
"Slogans of the nation are the same as before and our nation have not changed. The slogan showing their (Iranians') hatred of the US, i.e. "Down with the US", is still echoing," he concluded.

Note: When Obama sits down with them, will they have tea and small cakes? Picture it...perhaps Obama will start the conversation with, "How 'bout them Cubs!" Dark stare. Then Obama will smile broadly and unbutton his jacket. Darker stare. Maybe a game of hoops will help, or some community organizing strategies.
